Dear Colleagues!

We have the pleasure of inviting you to take part in the XV International Conference “Mössbauer Spectroscopy and Applications” (XV ICMSA-2018) to be held from 10th to 16th September 2018 in Sochi, Russia. The conference is the next in a series of traditional All-Russian and International scientific conferences devoted to Mössbauer Spectroscopy.

This year is the Jubilee, marks the 60th anniversary of the discovery of the Mössbauer effect. The conference is also timed to the 90th birthday of Academician Yu. M. Kagan, who made an outstanding contribution to the development of studies using the Mössbauer effect.

The aim of the conference is to get together Russian researchers and their international colleagues and provide them with the opportunity to discuss the latest achievements in the interaction of gamma rays with matter. The focus will be on the latest results of fundamental and applied research in condensed matter physics, chemistry and biology obtained using Mössbauer and synchrotron radiations. Of special interest is also research involving the NMR and NGR spectroscopies in condensed matter physics and solid state chemistry. Apart from that, young researchers will be privileged to gain the knowledge delivered by top scientists, special guest lecturers and colloquia speakers in their field of expertise. Poster sessions and oral presentations will help young researchers to present and discuss their own research. A number of leading researchers from well-known research centers are expected to give plenary talks.
